This striking Empress Dress is inspired by Greek sculpture. The dress is cut from luxurious silk gently washed to achieve the House’s subtle silk sheen and expertly hand-dyed to achieve the ombre silk effecting this Ethereal pale blush through to Lilac colour way.

The sides of the Empress dress are draped and weighted to keep them dropping in perfectly place. The sleeves are folded in an origami style technique creating a slight drape on the back of the arm slimming the bicep. The Dress flows freely around the body and a defined waist is created by the concealed Obijime ruched silk cord belt as its knots in the front

The Japanese style obijime ruched cord belt adjusts to draw in on the waist and knot at the front defining your waist whilst the rest of the dress is free around the body to the back.

Draped to an asymmetrical length, finishing around ankle length at the front, and slightly longer length at the sides.

The Orchid Cape that accompanies the Empress Dress is made from meters of delicate gathered Silk Chiffon , cut in to petals reminiscent of the orchid flower, hand-dyed creating an otherworldly lightness to the cape as it moves.

STYLE TIP - Appropriate for formal events and parties or to achieve a more casual look, simply wear with a flat evening sandal.
