Future Antiquity
This collaboration between E P O K’s Creative Director and Artist Lydia Smith, began with a conversation around the iconisation of the Female form throughout history and into the future.
Using Smith's unique scanning and sculpture method, they worked with a life model wearing the E P O K Signature Dress to build the form, Smith then digitally manipulated this form using references from antiquity resulting in the creation of their Digital artwork - Future Antiquity
The digital work is the origin of the Sculpture work. Smith used modern and traditional technologies to translate the digital piece into the physical world, creating the sculpture you see -
